The reason I post this is because when I was desperately trying to get back into the work grind yesterday, Gimme Shelter by the Rolling stones came on the radio. Easily my favorite Stones tune and it has the best intro of all time. Even people I know that can't stand the Rolling Stones love this song. Only problem? Nobody can understand what the f@#k Mick is saying so I borrowed a page out of Stephanies blogging book and Googled the lyrics...

A Jagger/Richards classic from the 1969 album, Let It Bleed. Particularly after
Altamont this song always felt to me like it slammed the door on the sixties. I'm amazed at how relevant those lyrics are even for today...
